ATV Maintenance - Getting ready to ride

ATVs are a great way to have fun and explore the outdoors, but they can also be dangerous if they are not properly maintained. By following these simple maintenance tips, you can help keep your ATV safe and running in top condition:

**Before each ride:**

* Check the oil level and add oil if necessary.

* Check the tire pressure and inflate the tires to the recommended pressure.

* Check the brakes and make sure they are working properly.

* Check the lights and make sure they are working properly.

* Check the chain and make sure it is properly lubricated.

* Inspect the Rad to make sure the fins are clear of mud/debris so the ATV does not overheat or cause premature wear & stress on the bikes components.

**After each ride:**

* Clean the ATV with a damp cloth.

* Check for any damage and make repairs as needed.

* Store the ATV in a cool, dry place.

**Regular maintenance:**

In addition to the checks you should do before and after each ride, it is also important to perform regular maintenance on your ATV. This includes:

**Additional tips:**

* If you are not familiar with ATV maintenance, it is a good idea to have the ATV serviced by a qualified mechanic at least once a year.

* When riding your ATV, be sure to wear a helmet, eye protection, and other safety gear.

* Obey all traffic laws and be aware of your surroundings.
